Removing links to Flickr website on thumb and set title

General questions on how to do things using Photonic

Removing links to Flickr website on thumb and set title

Postby nxpage » 04 May 2012, 14:48

In the screenshot example here I have two questions:

1. How do I have the thumb and set title ('Photojournalism') not go to Flickr website when clicked, but rather go into the slideshow popup (without leaving the site)?

2. How do I just have the thumb and set title per #1 show and not all the individual thumbnails? I'd like to be able to put a bunch of sets on a single WP page, each popping up into a slideshow when clicked. In other words, going down the page I'd have a thumb and Photojournalism, then another thumb and set title, then another and so on down the page.

3. Conversely, how would I eliminate the thumb and set title and just show all the image thumbs?

I searched the posts in this forum and looked through all the Generic and Flickr options in the plugin but haven't been able to figure this out.

Clicking on Photosets will not automatically launch the slideshow. Instead you will see all the photos in a panel, then you can start the slideshow.

For #2 see here: http://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic ... photosets/. The first example will show all your photoset thumbnails with titles. You cannot show an individual photoset thumbnail, rather every photoset's thumbnail will be shown.

For #3, go to Settings -> Photonic -> Flickr -> Flickr Photoset Thumbnails - "In-page" view for standalone Photosets. You can pick your options there.

For various examples of usage in Flickr you can see the demo pages.

Can we get an:
    Hide Photoset Thumbnail
    Hide Photoset Title
    Hide Number of Photos
for the SmugMug part?

Else I like this plugin :)

Were you able to have the photos show up in a lightbox that you can scroll through? I am trying to figure out how to have my photos come up in a light box and any help that you might be able to give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Photos come up in a lightbox if you click on a thumbnail. Can you explain your problem / provide a URL?
