Remove space where Custom layout widget bar 1 is?

Hello all,

This is a great help forum for me so far...

Next problem - I'm using the custom layout template for one of my pages. As you can see from the attached picture, there is a gap below the navigation bar

This Gap is where Widget 1 would go, however I do not want to put a widget there. Instead, I want to have the page title and some text, like my other pages.
The problem is, if I use a text widget to try to input text, it ends up looking like this:

Alternatively, I have tried using the widget area under the header, however, this comes out like this:

I am trying to achieve this: http://www.surreyweddingband.co.uk/client-testimonials/

Here you can see the page title is nicely inside the main body wrapper with the normal dotted line below it.

Can anyone help me please? :)

There is not a gap. Is the page title. At Suffusion Options -> Typography -> Custom Layout you choose to have "Custom Styles" for page title but you let the default #FFFFFF (white) as color. If you want to have page title for Custom Layout, go there and change the color (or choose "Theme Styles" to inherit the color from skin you used).

If you don't wish to have a title for this page - go and edit the page, then choose "Do not display the page title" at Additional Options for Suffusion -> General Settings, below the edit area.

After these steps, if is still needed, add at Suffusion Options -> Backend -> Custom Includes -> Custom Styles:
Code: Select all
.page-id-376 #content {margin-top: 7px;}

I determined this value of 7px for what is now on the page, you can slightly adjust this value until the content became aligned with the sidebar.
