Jquery-ui error in IE hoses Timeline display

Postby artc1209 » 11 May 2012, 07:14

I'm running a new tool on my site, a great timeline from http://timeline.verite.co/ (recommended, BTW) through their WordPress plugin.
Works great in Chrome and FireFox, but IE is not displaying the embedded tool, and the site is is throwing an error in the IE console about jquery-ui that I think may coming from Suffusion (latest version).

The error is:
SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'offset'
jquery-ui.min.js?ver=1.8.16, line 14 character 15364

The latest build info from the Jauery-ui site is: Stable (1.8.20: jQuery 1.3.2+)

Any way to verify if this error is this is Suffusion-related, and if it is, make this go away? I am using a couple of other plugins that use Jquery-ui, but I've de-activated them without changing things....

The Timeline page on my site is: http://www.thegrotonline.com/central-fire-timeline/

Thanks for your thoughts!

The JQuery UI script that is loaded is included within WP itself, so if you have a plugin conflict that conflict is with the core itself.

OK, I'm thinking the same thing, but I disabled the plugins that I know call jquery and the error persisted.
So I was wondering if it was being called by the theme, like for the Featured Posts slider or something else.

Can you think of any other place I should look?
