Theme version 4.2.
Selecting "Show Comment links for Post" from the "Options", "Other Graphical Formats", "Post and Page Bylines", where the selected position is either of the two "show in footer" options, shows the link correctly, but the link is always to the first post ID on the page in pages where there are multiple posts shown (e.g. the front page). It's behaving as if the comment link was not in The Loop.
IMO low priority, since showing the comment link in the post header behaves as expected, with each post's comment link taking you to the correct single-post and comments page.
