Save button problem

Postby kape27 » 17 Jul 2012, 15:32

Hello!
First, thank you for great theme. I suddenly got this problem 1,5 weeks ago. I see Save button, but it doesn´t work. Also there are only links, no tabs in theme options. I have tried to install wordpress and hole site again several times to webserver and different versions and also suffusion theme but the problem is still there. I have tried it in my computer localhost and it works normal there. I contact my webserver provider and they said they haven´t done any upgrades and can´t help me because it´s third part application. I have spend several hours to find answers, but nothing so far helps. I am not very good at these coding things. So if somenone can help me, please! I appreciate it very much!

Usually it's a conflicting plugin which induce this behavior. Disable your plugins, then re-enable them one by one to see which is the culprit (or remember what you installed at the time of breakage).

Thank you! I have tried to install everything again and without any plugins, but the same problem is there. :( I am going to ask my webhotel provider to clear everything and start from clean table. Would it help? I really don´t know what I could do next??

Error log shows this error. Could this be the reason for my problem? How could I solve this?

Yes it is your caching plug-in that is throwing the errors. Disable it and then delete it's files and see what happens then.

Thanks, but the problem didn´t go away. I deleted hole site and istalled wordpress again and after that suffusion theme, but still same problem, but no errors in errorlog. Something weird is wrong. About the caching plugin, I think I was struggling with w3 total cache plugin and after that these problems came. But I have deleted the plugin and files.. I have fought 2 weeks with this problem and don´t know what to do?? Thank you for all help!

Go through FTP and edit wp-config.php Find the line define('WP_DEBUG', false); and change it to "true".
Now you will see on the top of pages all problems within your wp installation.

But, how you have re-installed wordpress? You deleted all files from root? It look like you have a problem with .htaccess. At least you can see .htaccess file in the root of site? Can open it? It contains lines added by W3TC?

I have wp debug true, but it gives no errors. In last install .htaccess was replaced with new one and there is nothing inside. If you have time and want to see the dashboard of my site. http://www.veskarinelamaa.net
