The reason I asked you to upgrade was because some users were facing a problem with backslash characters ("\") in the custom JavaScript sections, and I fixed that problem in version 2.5.5, so an upgrade would have helped you.

Also, "Featured Content" will show a section similar to the one you have at the top of the page link that you provided. You can choose to not use Suffusion's "Featured Content" section and you can use something else if you like.

Anyway, since you don't want to upgrade, you can modify footer.php as you were, but remove the duplicated code that you had.

Exscuse me
I dont want diminish (belittle, lessen) you work ;)
The problem is that I do not know if I use a custom field for total number of articles with the functions of your theme :?

For the featured content: I checked the options and does not work :ugeek:
before updating I have to be sure that everything worked ..

Tnk for your patience, very kind

Teodoro,
Can you please list out the problems you are facing? Because I am not able to understand if you have solved your original problem. As I understand, you don't want to upgrade. So assuming that you are not upgrading, can you put back the analytics code in the footer.php file and delete the duplicate code that I had highlighted in my previous post?

Featured contents work perfectly if you have set up the right criteria, but they are not relevant if you are not uprading.

:-) ok.
<?php if (suffusion_post_count() > 1) (page: single.php )
To use this code in your theme I add a custom field in articles?
Or maybe I'm wrong and the code is not necessary to see the total number of articles that have been read??

For Featured Content: Ok, Now I understand, was I wrong

For Analytics: does not work, although I have tried in various ways
remains to try to insert the code after the tag <head>

your theme is the best I've used till now :D

Hi,
If I look at the plugin's page, I see this:
* Show hits in the single Post page
* Show hits in Index and Archive pages
* Show most read posts in last X days in the Sidebar (Widget)

You spoke about single.php, which means that you are trying the first point in the above. You can ignore the call to suffusion_post_count(). That call determines if you have more than 1 post in your blog, because it prints the Previous post / Next post navigation at the top of the single post page.

From the plugin's page it says that you need to insert a call to <?php ST4_single_hits(); ?> in the single.php file. Go ahead and do it - it should work.
