Re: Strict Standards Warning After Updating to JetPack v3.4.

I am getting the same error when trying to send mail using the MailPoet plug-in and it doesn't allow me to send the mail. Actually the error dialog appears at the top of the MailPoet dashboard screen even before I try to send the mail. I just migrated my website http://barronsquare.org from a shared...

Re: Link wrong on moving from WAMP to Production site

@PeterC66 I hate the way WordPress uses serialized absolute URLs for links. That's one thing I miss from Drupal. The plugin I use to migrate from WAMP to live host (or back) is WP-migrate-db. It works like a charm. I have it installed on both the WAMP site and the live site so I can migrate back and...

Re: suffusion generated CSS file

@sayontan Problem solved. I disabled ALL of the plugins (17) except for NextGEN Gallery and JJ NextGEN JQuery Slider. I was then able add the appropriate CSS code to the Suffusion >BackEnd >Custom Includes to set the proper height for the slider images and the 'Save' function on the backend worked p...

Re: suffusion generated CSS file

@sayontan I think there are two separate things here. I do NOT get the message at the top of the screen nor the change in URL when I Save/Reset changes. Any idea why this is happening? Second, the page source code says that the CSS file with the 'max-height' parameter for #slider and #sliderContent ...

Re: suffusion generated CSS file

@colin Nice try, but no cigar. :D I looked at both Firefox and Chrome and the slider IMAGE height is 250px (as measured with the PMeter). The content box is slightly over 400px. I tried to add #slider, #sliderContent {max-height:450px;} to the custom CSS. There was no effect and when I went back to ...

suffusion generated CSS file

Using WP 3.2.1 with Suffusion 4.4.6 and a child theme. Site is http://barronsquare.org/barron-square Attempted to use jj-nextgen-jquery-slider. Image is 450px height, but display height is being limited to 250px by CSS from a Suffusion-generated CSS file. <link rel='stylesheet' id='suffusion-generat...

Re: lost settings on site transfer

@sayontan The more I think about this, the stranger it seems. I admit I'm a relative noobie in PHP but I have been using (and teaching) Drupal for 5 years. It seems to me that if i export the SQL database with phpMyAdmin and then use a text editor like Notepad++ to find an replace every instance of ...

Re: child theme css not functional

The site is still under development and is set up for members only, but does have some 'public' pages.
Do you need a login account?
If so I can set one up for you and email you the information. (Registration is closed.)

Re: Modify static sidebar

@sayontan Actually the Meta widget which can be used in the static tabbed sidebar includes the login/logout functions. I would have used it except for the included RSS feed links. Something like the simple form login in the Custom Community theme might be a nice addition to a future version of Suffu...
