I second this, having 2 posts on my front page it would be nice if when viewing the categories more than 2 would show up. Is there no way to set the maximum for the front page in the theme options and have the "Blog pages show at most (x) posts" (in the reading options of wordpress) affect everythin...

Thanks for the ablility to control the number of featured posts in the new version. It works great.

Oh and are you planning to just limit the number of posts displayed to less than the number being displayed on the front page or to allow any number despite the homepage?

I assume I did do when I deleted and reinstalled. There certainly seem to be more options. how would you normally choose how many posts the gallery would display if it was set to show posts from a select category?

Ah ha, deleting and reinstalling the theme seems to have made shot-code work!

Curiously despite deleting the theme and reinstalling it seems to have remembered my preferences anyhow glad it works, now I'm just not sure about the gallery.
