How can I change post order within magazine template?

I have tried several post order plugins to no avail. I am using the Collapsing Categories plugin in my sidebar and it behaves quite well with the plugin PostMash Custom; but it does not effect the order of the same posts on the magazine homepage.

Re: Header image disappeared after 3.9.1 upgrade

Yes, you were on the right track! I hadn't been in Suffusion Options for over a week so I didn't think to look at the basics, but somehow the theme style had been switched from Custom styles to Theme styles (default). Thanks for taking to time to look, Sayontan.

Header image disappeared after 3.9.1 upgrade

The subject line pretty much says it all. I tried adding a duplicate background image; removing all custom includes; deactivating all plugins; to no avail. I can switch to Twenty Eleven and add a new header image with no problems. Any ideas?

Re: WP Menu items on a page

Pretty much what Sayontan said: You could create the page (or post) that you want to display the custom menu on, and add it to your main navigation bar, whether your using the Suffusion Options menu for that or the Wordpress custom menu maker. Add an ad-hoc widget area to the page (or post), and put...

Re: archives page

Rather than trying to create an archive template, which may be quite a challenge making it harmonize with Suffusion unless you are an expert in php, you might want to try an archive plugin such as Clean Archives Reloaded. It doesn't produce thumbnails, but you may be able to find a plugin that will ...

Re: top navigation bar white space

I had reduced the size of the container and centered the content with height, width, margins, and padding, but background and border had not come to mind... now it is perfect. Than you soham100!

Re: Hot to change <title> data in Header.php?

All that does is allow Yoast to modify your page titles, otherwise it does not effect the plugins functionality. You can either check the box to Force rewrite titles, or insert the code into the header.php file, probably under the head profile.

or... switch to SEO Ultimate ;)

Re: Vertical Menu in Left Sidebar can't overflow

For some reason, for me, flattening the sidebar worked even without the code. And it looks much cleaner than with the code included and the sidebar set to Show widgets in individual boxes. Suffusion Options > Sidebar Configuration > (whichever sidebar you are trying to configure) > Style of (whichev...

Re: how to create 2 + static pages using your theme

There seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding menus lately. Sayontan did a great job of designing a way to setup menus in Suffusion before Wordpress 3.0, and I hope that my tutorial was useful to some folks in putting it to best use. But with Wordpress 3.0 came a new way of making menus right in ...
