Post by jimcraig » 26 Nov 2013, 21:56

I have several Boarders that are to extend all the way across the window of the browser. It looks good on browsers on desktops and laptops but it does not work correctly on tablets such as iPad or Android.

Hello Jim, I don't have an iPad so don't know how it looks on an iPad. But what I did was check on my iPhone. Now from what I could see on my mobile phone is that you don't have the responsive setting enabled, is this correct?

Kind regards

Hi

I know this is from a while back, but I am having the same problem as Jim. Any help? I have the header background and the navigation bar below the header both set to go the full width of the screen. Looks great on laptop and desktop but on iPad and iPhone both the header background end abruptly about 30 pixels from the right side of the screen, leaving a nasty little hole. I can't show you this now because the site is under development and is set to private.

I can also tell you that I am NOT using responsive layout because, while that fixes the problem on the iPad, it actually makes it much worse on the iPhone. I'd be happy to have a non-responsive theme that just works on all devices.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Linda
