I had the same problem when trying to autoupgrade, and was relieved to find a solution here. But I have a question (sorry if this has already been covered in another thread):

When I overwrite the existing Suffusion folder with the one in the zip file, will I then lose the values of all my Suffusion options? Or are those stored elsewhere?

No, you won't lose anything. Be sure to delete your existing folder, though, not simply overwrite.

Hello all,

My partner had it even worse - the theme was installed but not activated, and she was simply previewing Suffusion - in the middle of things, boom! white screen for the site and white screen for the WP editor as well, although she could log in.

I gave the hosting company an earful!

After looking here, I
- deleted the complete Suffusion theme file in the website with my FTP
- went into the WP editor (it worked after a 5-10 second delay!)
- changed the theme to the previous one
- checked to see if it was working now on the internet (YES! )
- downloaded the file from above here, un-zipped it, and uploaded to the site
- sent my partner (in Canada) an email and went to bed (it was 2am here in Europe)
- she worked on it without any problems

Now, I need to go apologise to the hosting company!
