3.0.8

Post by kenem » 27 Jan 2010, 17:03

Hello,

I upgraded to to version 3.0.8 and now I cannot login, register or change my password  . The meta widget isn't working and the pages that I created in the top navigation bar for login and registering aren't working. At first, I was getting an error when I tried to login saying that my browser doesn't accept cookies, which it does. I just kept trying to login in and after the 20th time or so the "cookie" message disappeared but, I still can't log in. I enter my info and the page just reloads with the same login in page again.

Does anyone know how I can now get into my website now? I have no idea of what to do now...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The website I'm setting up is Pâte d'Argent - Art en Métal

In advance, thank you.

I am sure this is not a "Suffusion bug" as you reported. You can follow the instructions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Yo ... set_Script

Also, you might consider deleting your plugin folder for the plugin that makes your login and registration pages look like the theme if the previous suggestion doesn't work.

Thanks Sayontan for getting back to me so quickly. The script worked for me and I took your advice and erased the Theme My Login plugin. Thanks again for your help.

I have actually used "Theme My Login" and it works (and I really like it!). You might want to try reusing it if the password reset script worked.

I think I will try it again. Especially since the author just updated the script and says he worked out a few known bugs. What the heck, I'll give it a try, and I know that I always have backup if I run into the same problem. Take care, and thanks...
