custom links in menus?

Post by marcnyc » 21 Apr 2010, 21:13

I was wondering if there is a way to create custom links for the mens... in other words I would like a certain page which appears in the menu to go to a link I define, rather than to the page itself...
I know there is a plug in that does that but I am afraid that it might not play nice with Suffusion or that the developer might stop developing it, so I wanted to express my interest for this kind of feature to be added to the Suffusion features

Two ways to do this:
1. Use the "Links" feature of WP. Suffusion lets you include links in the navigation bar.
2. Use the "Page Links to" plugin and create pages that redirect to these links. This gives you better capabilities to control nesting of links under other links.

Thanks for the fast reply.
I would love to be able to do within WP, but (correct me if I am wrong), if I use the WP Links feature I won't be able to decide where those links are displayed in the menu, right?
I would want them to be a sub-menu of a Page menu that I created.

Then option #2 applies to you.
