Blog Title - Changing for individual pages

Post by Farokh » 25 May 2010, 13:32

I must be the only person who wants this! I have searched your forum, and the WordPress plugins for one that will do the trick.

I would like to define a different Blog Title for individual pages or category of pages. My site consists of a couple of different services. I would like to have a Blog Title for the main page that is different than the one for the photography section that is different from the Web Design section.

I have no idea if this can be done or not, hence the request.

Many thanks for listening.

This is currently possible with the Custom PHP feature. See the first comment for the post. You can do the following:
1. Remove the "suffusion_set_title" hook from "suffusion_document_header":

Code: Select all

remove_action("suffusion_document_header", "suffusion_set_title");
2. Add a new action:

Code: Select all

add_action("suffusion_document_header", "suffusion_set_farokhs_title", 9);
3. Create the function suffusion_set_farokhs_title as per your requirement. See the function suffusion_set_title in actions.php for inspiration. Use conditional tags for checking if you are on a certain page.
