Calendar Plugin Recommendation

Post by ckwimberly » 07 May 2012, 15:41

I needed an event calendar and tried Ajax Event Calendar, which worked perfectly except for the following problem post at wordpress.org:

I am using the suffusion theme and added this calendar plugin. Love the plugin which works perfectly in Chrome, however, in IE upon clicking on an event, the detail window is not showing up or is displaying at the bottom of the screen (not in view). In Chrome, the detail window displays at the top of the screen and is visable. My site is http://www.coalchicago.com. Is there a known problem with IE?

My question: does anyone using the suffusion theme have a recommendation for a calendar plugin which works across all browsers? I simply need a calendar to list events, some recurring, start end dates, start end times, and a description. I'd like a rollover to display details (without having to go to a new page.

This may not be the place to ask for a recommendation, however, wordpress.org is not really as responsive as one requires.

I use My Calendar I used to use Event Calendar but find that a bit flaky of late. Have a check at http://costablancacc.com (one of my sites) in your other browsers, I have and it seems fine for me. I did have to add a bit of custom CSS to get it looking how I wanted though. The full calendar is on the Syllabus page and then there is the small one in the sidebar.
