Trying to increase left margin width

Post by BrianHayesMusic » 21 Mar 2016, 09:49

I'm trying to change the left margin in my website's content, throughout the site. Drake had given me this code, a while back, to put into Custom Styles:

.blocktext {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
text-align: justify;
width: 45em
}

This worked perfectly in most places, except for a couple of areas, like my Orlando Area Lessons page:

http://orlando.guruofguitar.com/lessons ... a-lessons/

The first line of text has the proper margin but the lines below it won't obey the "blocktext" that I insert into the code. And the only difference between the two lines is that one is font style is 15 and the other is 17.

<p class="style15 blocktext"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">If you are in the greater Orlando area and would like to inquire about pricing and availabilities, please contact Brian at:</span></p> <---works fine

<p class="style17 blocktext"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Phone - 407-484-2013</span></p> <---ignores custom style "blocktext"

I'd be happy to create margins by introducing the left sidebar, leaving it empty and customizing the width of it. Would that be the easier way?

(I'm hoping it's ok to ask this here.)
