Main Page lay out

Post by MMar » 14 Dec 2010, 15:53

Hi, Sanyosan,

I've set up the featured content to show up to 10 posts (excerpts), and it does in most pages automatically, but not in the main page. Is there a specific set up item that I am missing? The slider shows the posts, but they are not featured below in the main page. Only a link to older posts. When I click, then the page shows them.

How can I get the main page to show the latest 10 posts by default?

Thanks,
MMar

This sounds like an issue I have with every release upgrade. This is what I was given to fix it, which works:

1. Open the file layout-blog.php
2. Near the top locate this line:
if (!isset($suffusion_duplicate_posts)) $suffusion_duplicate_posts = array();
3. Add this line after it:
$suffusion_duplicate_posts = array();
Save the file and reload your page.

You'll have to do this every time you upgrade Suffusion to the latest release.

You'll have to do this every time you upgrade Suffusion to the latest release.
You should consider subscribing to the blog feed. :-)

An option was provided in version 3.6.5 around 3.5 months back that lets you include/exclude duplicate posts
