Mobile width on responsive layout

Post by covermesongs » 13 Jun 2018, 07:05

I've got my site set up for mobile devices, and when I load it on my iPhone it looks fine: http://covermesongs.com

The only weird thing is that on every page you can scroll pretty far to the right on the phone - tons of blank space. Which I didn't care about before, except now Google Adsense is removing the ads from various pages, saying it's because my page is wider than the screen on mobile (though the ads aren't set to display on mobile anyway).

Any ideas how to fix it so there's not all that empty space in the responsive mobile layout? I poked around the forums, but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

Thanks for the help Colin! Didn't think of that. I made all the YouTube videos responsive on this new post, though, and they do look better - which is progress! - but the issue remains that I can scroll really far to the right into blank space on mobile.

In your custom CSS try changing your body.custom-background definition background-size to contain from auto.

It is however fine on my iPhone.
