How to Center Header Foreground Header Image?

Post by Type Historian » 29 Oct 2018, 03:40

Suffusion 4.7.11/Suffu-scion Child Theme

I have set Column-2 [right] to 200px width on three sites—the second two are sub-domains maintained by a different host. The header foreground image is sized as 200 px wide throughout:

http://typeheritage.com/ (WP 3.2.1)
http://forums.typeheritage.com/ (WP 4.7.11)
http://bazaar.typeheritage.com/ (WP 4.7.11)*

In all three cases, it looks as if the image is aligned on the left with padding? margin? on the right. How can I fix this?

*It is most noticeable here because a derivative image revealing only the central (shaded circle) elements does not "echo" it whether aligned left or center. Once fixed, I would like to use the same derivative image elsewhere.

With sincere thanks for your help, Anna

Anna

I am using Firefox on a Mac and I don't see any issue with padding or margin being set on the image. Using 'inspect element' confirms that there is no margin or padding on the image and it is shown full sized at 200px square.

Ideally you should update your Wordpress to the current 4.9.x particularly as v5 is out next month. Are you using Suffusion 4.5.4? If not then you should really update to this too.

Hi, please check the following documentation https://mbrsolution.com/wordpress/add-a ... fusion.php. This should help you with adding a header image.

Let us know if you need more help.

Kind regards
