Wrong Version installed, how to convert to English?

Post by joyfulart » 06 May 2014, 18:17

I don't know what I missed, but the version of Suffusion is not English. I thought something else was wrong but this newest update to Smith left a message that I was not using a version in English. Is it possible to convert or re-install to English? I had hoped the next update would correct this problem. (obviously, I'm not a coding type of person.) Thanks for your help in advance.

The main version of Suffusion is English, to change the language you load the appropriate translation file. So just remove the language file that you added in the past.

From /suffusion/translation/ or from /translation/ subfolder of your child theme if you use one. But is not so simple. If Suffusion seen that is needed a translation and it use this translation means that you use WordPress in another language, so, first is needed to edit wp-config.php and edit the line about WPLANG to look like:

Code: Select all

define('WPLANG', '');
(with nothing between the single quotes)
