I just wanted to add my thanks for the work you have put into creating such a great theme, and making it available for free. I was very particular about what I wanted for my blog layout and design, but most themes simply didn’t cut it, not even close. Suffusion gave me just what I needed to achieve the blog I wanted. My husband, who is a software developer, did make a few tweaks directly to the code for the main blog and for some widgets too, but the vast majority of changes I wanted to make were done within the Suffusion interface itself. It’s funny, I came across this theme with the exact same website idea in mind ;D Having seeing yours I think I will stray away from this theme now haha. However, how did you manage to change the section on the right hand side, to tags and the advert instead of the things like meta etc (I’d like to know for future reference). I’m quite new to making websites as a hole and especially to customizing with wordpress; any pointers!?

As I work with Suffusion more and more, I keep discovering the additional options available to us. It is a theme which has the kind of options and support that other individuals or companies charge a lot for. Again, I want to say it is a wonderful free theme and to say thanks again to Sayontan for providing this for many different types of webmasters to use.

The custom layout makes it pretty easy to create a landing page. I did a simple on and have a dozen sites for the different project I manage. But I’m greedy and want more …. more adhoc widgets, more custom widget areas. The theme keep getting better and better. Still can’t reconcile the site width to anything but the default, but some great stuff nonetheless. Thanks

Awesomw theme! Whenever I build a WordPress site, I usually end up drawn towards what I call “kitchen sink” themes that allow maximum control over everything… Including the kitchen sink! The problem with most themes like that is; they’re typically heavy, lumbering and extremely temperamental (install the wrong plugin, or update to a new version of WordPress and frustration ensues).
Not so with Suffusion! Pages load fast and functionality is very responsive (even with several plugins and widgets installed). There’s still a bit of a learning curve, which looks very daunting on the outset, but everything makes sense and once you figure it out (and remember where everything is!) it couldn’t be easier. I’m very particular about functionality and design, and for the first time, I don’t feel like I’ve had to make any compromises, or put with anything I didn’t like.

these are two projects I’ve done recently, for car customization and auto body workshops. I use the Magazine template without a sidebar for the Homepage, and added some extra CSS stuff to create some shadows on the content boxes.
Suffusion is my favorite theme. Great work!

WOW what a wonderful theme! I am not a programmer or designer by trade. My designer dropped me one day so I decided to download the WP user manual and teach myself. For the past year all I could do was add posts and mess around with widgets and plugins. Thanks to your theme, I have rebuilt my website with the greatest of ease and minimal frustration. I have been using Suffusion for several years now and must say that it just keeps getting better and the user forum and support for knowledgeable professionals is second to none. Just recently I was working on a complete makeover of:

And actually had a member of the forum offer to help me with some custom CSS Menu options on his free time. No where will you find a user base like this. A huge thanks to Sayontan, et. al. Hopefully I can keep donating if this business gets off the ground.

I searched around the free themes before I finally came across Suffusion. In my (limited) experience, it offers far more flexibility than other free themes and loads up well.

I was looking for a theme whereby you could alter everything from the options and not the CSS or other pages. Makes updates so much easier!

Excellent theme, great support from developer and moderator community. Suffusion provides an expansive amount of customization and flexibility ‘out of the box’; as compared to other free themes, this also reduces the number of plugins required to add the functionality that you need. Impressive! A couple of uses:coalchicago.com and globalconferencecentral.com. Coffee’s on me.

Thought I would share my recently updated site using Suffusion (which is the theme I almost always use because it’s the BEST theme ever). My site is Crunchy Data.
I used a mega menu for a dropdown contact form on the main nav bar, and though the re-design is deliberately understated, it’s got plenty of custom mods, thanks to the awesome Custom Includes section and a few plugins.
Also recently used Suffusion to build a new site for Verret Design, using the Jquery Vertical Mega Menu widget for the flyout sidebar menu (browse by product).

I have found suffusion easy to use thus far but I have a challenge with creating pages. The pages I created did not show up on my site. I am quite new to this and wonder what I am doing wrong. Please help.

I love your theme,as one will notice though I am still a rookie as far as what the theme can really do for a site. I still have a lot to do on the site as far as the user experience and the related functionality not to mention refinements in the layoutas well. I have a number of other basic blogs through WordPress that I started about a year ago now. I only wish I had more time to spend in the blogging world….but I find suffusion to have a great many options that I have yet to even explore.
