Version 4.3.0 of Suffusion was released last evening. This version has one correction – the suffusion.js file had an incorrect selector specified in a particular line, which caused problems for newer versions of JQuery. I have taken care of it.

What version of jQuery should I have? It seems that I’m getting jQuery 1.7.2.
I’m using suffusion 4.3.0 with a child theme that I put in simply to avoid problems with updates and Buddypress 1.6.1.
What is happening is that on my “members” page, there’s an element called “members list”, which contains a list, one of whose elements is a which contains the “friend” links (e.g. Cancel Friendship). Those links appear to have a “click” event listener that doesn’t actually seem to work as intended: a single “click” does nothing, but the link works if I, for example, right-click and “open in a new tab”.
Are there any known bad interactions between suffusion 4.3.0 and buddypress 1.6.1?
Thanks for your amazing work on your themes and plugins! I was knocked out with how good your work is!
Regards,
Mike
Which version of Suffusion BuddyPress Pack are you on? You will need the latest version, which contains fixes for AJAX-related issues.
I’m on 1.11.
That has no known issues related to AJAX.
Ok, thanks.
Hi there,
I love the Suffusion theme and have found it very user friendly for someone with only basic HTML understanding.
I’m not sure if it was this latest update, but my settings within Suffusion options for where comments appear is not working on two pages I created today. Comments are set to appear on all posts but no pages, but the pages I created today both have comments showing. I double-checked my settings and nothing has changed. My old pages (all from before this update) also are still showing correctly with no comments.
It could very well be something simple I’m missing, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
