I pushed through a minor version of Suffusion today. Version 4.2.9 addresses just one issue: the “Edit Post” / “Edit Page” screen was causing CSS conflicts for some plugins that were using JQuery. I have addressed this issue.
I have had a few insanely hectic weeks and I am in the process of getting back my bearings. Please put up with me in the meanwhile – I will get to most issues that have cropped up in this time.
[…] news: Suffusion has update the theme to version 4.2.9. Check out what’s new in this release Suffusion 4.2.9 […]
Thanks for the update. Hope you have a great week.
I’m a recent Thesis refugee, and so grateful to have found Suffusion in the midst of blog crisis mode. Still sorting through some things and learning about it, but will be buying you a seriously good pound of coffee soon. 😉
After updating to 4.2.9 today, my comment widget default favicon disappeared; I’ve reloaded it to no avail.
I haven’t a clue if the two events are related, but it had been fine before that.
Thanks for all the great work, and looking forward to every future refinement.
I doubt that they are related, because that widget is not from Suffusion. My guess is that you also updated JetPack, and the “Hovercard” functionality of JetPack started playing tricks. You might want to try disabling Hovercards in JetPack and see if that makes a difference.
Thank you Sayontan
I’m wondering what changes occurred in 4.3.0? I try keeping up to date with Suffusion version changes by testing and reading your theme release posts. Unfortunately sometimes the WP repository releases come out before your news post and I don’t know if I should update or wait for an explanation and perhaps customer feedback.
(Please consider this feature request:) I’ve managed to keep 95% of my Suffusion sites with a link to you in the right side of the site footer. I would still like to manage the third footer area without having to edit the site-footer.php file. Would you consider making the third footer area available for editing with the other two? And making the three footer area’s optionally a two or single area?
